Rodney H. Rainey, a 3rd generation real estate broker, began his real estate career in Houston, Texas as a construction manager with Brighton Homes, property manager with Wayne Duddlesten Inc., for 50 Briar Hollow, a 180,000 square foot office building complex, and commercial real estate broker with The Hackney-Rainey Company.

The Hackney-Rainey Company began as the T.F. Hackney Company in 1930's by Thomas F. Hackney, his grandfather, and in the late 1940's the company became the Hackney-Rainey Company, a partnership with Walter M. Rainey Jr., his father.

As a broker, Rainey has represented office building tenants in lease negotiations, multiple fast-food restaurant franchisees in pad site acquisitions and lease negotiations, numerous raw land acquisitions for investors and real estate developers but has focused most of his attention over the years on income producing real estate investment properties.

In addition to his transaction experience, Rainey has extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of the market conditions and the off-market availability of multi-family, retail, hotel & light industrial investment opportunities in the greater Charlotte and surrounding markets.
